Payments, renewals and cancellation

1. Available payment methods

Hootigo uses PayPal checkout. Depending on the customer’s country, device, browser and PayPal eligibility, checkout may offer PayPal, major credit or debit cards, Apple Pay or Google Pay. A specific wallet cannot be guaranteed for every customer.

2. Monthly automatic renewal

When you choose a one-month hosting, WordPress or VPS plan, checkout clearly creates a monthly PayPal subscription. PayPal charges the displayed monthly amount automatically until you cancel. You can cancel automatic renewal in the Hootigo customer portal or in PayPal.

3. Prepaid terms

Plans for 12, 24 or 36 months are paid in advance as a one-time charge unless checkout explicitly states otherwise. Their discount applies only to that prepaid period.

4. Cancellation

Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewal charges. The service normally remains available through the period already paid. Domain registrations and other already completed third-party operations may be non-refundable.

5. Failed payments and refunds

If a renewal payment fails, PayPal may retry it and the service may be restricted after notice. Refund requests are assessed under applicable consumer law and the nature and usage of the service.
